Day 3. My expectations are now a bit higher due to yesterday’s small success. I wanted to know what my second 5$ promotion day brought. After the last part ended, I went to see a movie with my wife. The movie is called “the time traveler’s wife”. Having read the book, I was looking forward to see this movie – and it did not dissapoint me… anyway, we had fun and a good time while my 5$ per day ads were running :)
So, when dawn broke (it does give a dramatic notion…) I went to see what happened during the last day. I logged into my PeopleString accout and… 7. Only 7 more referrals were added during the night… this means that in 2 days, I managed to automatically recruit 15 referrals – each worth at least 0.5$… and I spent 10$ on the promotion. After about 5 hours of “waiting”, my ad was approved and started running. The excitement began. I just gave a quick look at the ads control panel in bidvertiser, to see the status has changed from pending to run, and I left it at that. This is a short story that describes a short term (4days…) PPC (positive) experience I just had. In the end of this story, you would be able to copy this campaign exactly and for free, and get the same or even better results (by results I mean actually referrals who sign up under you).
